Palmerston North is fortunate to have a number of markets taking place every weekend.

On Saturday mornings there's a market on the corner of Church & Albert Streets in the carpark of the Albert Sports Bar. Opening early (around first light), you'll find an abundance of fresh fruit & vegetables. Getting there early gives you first option on the fresh produce and like most outdoor markets, the number of stall holders can vary dependent on the weather.

Sunday mornings sees everyone going along to the Cloverlea Market which takes place in the Cloverlea Tavern car park, Tremaine Avenue. You'll find fresh fruit & vegetables along with fast food, crafts, clothing & bric a brac. If you fancy a drive you can head out to Sanson for their regular Sunday morning market. Fresh fruit & veg and various nic nacs will keep you busy.
